Bowscale Fell is a Lake District fell of 702 m in Westmorland and Furness. Its key col leads to Blencathra – Hallsfell Top, not to its nearest higher summit, Atkinson Pike.

All four of its nearest neighbours lie to the south, so it stands at the northern edge of its group. It shares its height of 702 m with Trollabhal, Beinn Fhada (Argyll and Bute) and Barrslievenaroy. Its nearest higher summit, Atkinson Pike (845.3 m, 2.4 km south), is a listed top not profiled here. Its drop of 87 m makes it a Hewitt but is short of the 150 m a Marilyn needs. The highest point is recorded as stone shelter, not a cairn. The database describes the top as a stone shelter.
