Hopegill Head is a Lake District fell of 769.6 m in Cumberland. It shares its height of 769.6 m with Carn Dearg (Highland, NN357948).
Its drop of 97.2 m makes it a Hewitt but is short of the 150 m a Marilyn needs. Its nearest higher summit, Grisedale Pike, is also the hill its key col leads to. The highest point is recorded as rock, not a cairn. It falls on two OS 1:50,000 sheets, 89 and 90.
