Great Dodd is a Lake District fell of 857 m in Cumberland. It overtops all four of its nearest neighbours; the tallest of them, Stybarrow Dodd, reaches 843.7 m.
Its key col leads to Helvellyn, not to its nearest higher summit, Raise. It shares its height of 857 m with Beinn a' Chrulaiste and Cruach Innse. Its drop of 109 m makes it a Hewitt but is short of the 150 m a Marilyn needs. It is 221.7 m above the average height of the 114 register hills in Cumberland.
