Beinn Ghlas is a Munro of 1,103.4 m in Perth and Kinross. All four of its nearest neighbours lie to the north, so it stands at the southern edge of its group.
On the Munros height ladder it sits between Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin (1,106.6 m) and Beinn Eibhinn (1,103.3 m). It is a Munro but not a Marilyn: its 109.1 m of drop is short of 150 m. It is 213.9 m above the average height of the 62 register hills in Perth and Kinross. Its nearest higher summit, Ben Lawers, is also the hill its key col leads to.
